about

I started producing 29 years ago, and in this time, I've never stopped making DNB/Jungle reggae, dub, techno and all kinds of weirdness.

This Time_DNB/Jungle

Next Time_Dubbed Out Beats

‘Flames' and 'Beat Workout' featured on a mix Spirit and I did for my album, Dubzilla. Beat Workout leads with a hypnotic riff and a relentless breakbeat. Flames is a halftime track with a piercing rave stab and a warm soulful bongo break.

'Jailhouse' is a paranoid, twisted stepper. 'Mask' has dubbed out techy chords, bags of bass and a smooth amen break. You'll hear from Larry Shite (The Walrus of Dub) again soon. There's nothing romantic about 'Larry Shite's Xmas', just odd darkness.

'Experience' and 'Distance' are musical journeys with powerful breaks and heavy basslines. I made 'Forward Thinking' in a dreamy state after a heap of partying, so there's an oddness about it I like.

'Short Memory' and 'Regret' are rowdy two-step rollers. 'Outrage' sounds like a track from 97 with its loud Reese bass and crunchy breaks. (It also sounds like something my pal Outrage would make hence the name) 'Free Roll' shows I'll use a riff lead on any old breakbeat I can find cos it's fun!
